Readability of code is essential for maintaining code.
There isn't really a standard for formatting SQL. And if there were, I might not like it, because it might not match my style.
I really think each person's preference might be in a way that helps them read the SQL and may be different for each individual.
Interestingly, people can get quite passionate here. I'm not one of those person, but my preference is a simple "A", "B", "C" approach to aliasing tables.
